What It Does
Every answer comes from a Ford source — your PTS session or ClaimIQ's Ford warranty knowledge base — not from a general-purpose chatbot guessing at what Ford's policy might be.
The right operation number for the repair, its published time, whether it is a diagnostic operation, and what it can and cannot be claimed with.
Whether a bulletin applies to this VIN, what it instructs, and which labor operation it names.
Base, powertrain and emissions coverage for a VIN, in-service date, and open field service actions.
The published procedure for the repair, including the removal and installation steps the claim has to match.
Whether a part is covered, which part number Ford names for the component, and one-time-use requirements.
Ask the way you would ask a colleague. The answer cites the Ford document it came from so you can check it.
Questions it answers
What is the labor operation for a rear main seal on a 2023 F-150 3.5L, and what time does Ford publish for it?
Is there a TSB covering a shudder on light acceleration for this VIN?
Is the transmission still under powertrain coverage on this VIN, and when did it go in service?
Does Ford require the bolts to be replaced on this job, and what is the part number?
What does the workshop manual say has to come off to get to the valve body?
Who It Is For
They know what they are doing. They are not looking for training or a second opinion — they are looking for one specific Ford fact, and they do not want to spend twenty minutes in PTS finding it while a technician waits.
The warranty admin left. Somebody has to keep claims moving until the seat is filled, and that somebody has never written a 3C in their life. The Desk answers the questions the departed admin used to answer.
The current process works well enough and nobody wants to rip it out. The Warranty Desk sits alongside it. Nothing about how claims are written or submitted has to change.
Straight Answer
We would rather tell you this now than have the conversation after you have paid.
All of that is the ClaimIQ platform, which starts at $399/month — and includes The Warranty Desk. See platform pricing.
The Warranty Desk runs lookups through your dealership's PTS access, not ClaimIQ's. You connect your own FMCDealer account, and the Desk uses it on your behalf when it needs a Ford document. Every lookup happens under your store's own entitlement, against the same Ford data your admin sees when they log in themselves.
Every Ford and Lincoln franchised store already has FMCDealer — it is required to operate — so there is nothing to buy from Ford and nothing to set up beyond connecting the account you use today.
What's Included
Any three people at the dealership. Additional users are $49/month each. Each person connects with their own FMCDealer sign-in, so every lookup runs under their own Ford access.
Per dealership, resetting each calendar month. Beyond that, Extra questions: $49 per 50, or $2 each.
Only a live visit to Ford PTS uses one of your 150. Ask about the same labor operation five times while you write the RO and it costs one. Ask a warranty policy question and it costs nothing at all — that comes from ClaimIQ's knowledge base, not from Ford's site. Most stores never reach the cap.
At the limit, cached answers and warranty policy keep working — only new live Ford lookups pause until a block is added or the month resets. You will see the count in the app well before that, so it is a decision rather than a surprise.
Adding 50 more questions costs $49. Nothing is charged automatically.
Buy The Warranty Desk standalone, or get it free with any ClaimIQ platform plan. The platform adds everything the Desk deliberately does not do.

Prices are per dealer group and billed through Stripe. The Warranty Desk requires the dealer's own FMCDealer credentials — it runs lookups through your PTS access, not ours. Managed warranty administration is priced separately, from $3,500/month.
Yes — and you already have them. Every Ford and Lincoln franchised store has FMCDealer access; it is required to operate. The Desk runs lookups through your own FMCDealer sign-in rather than ClaimIQ's, so every lookup happens under the Ford access of the person who asked. Each Desk user connects their own account.
No. It answers Ford warranty questions. Complaint, cause and correction coaching is part of the ClaimIQ platform, which starts at $399/month and includes the Desk.
It is the same source. The difference is time: one question instead of a session, a search, three tabs and a section print, and the answer comes back with the Ford document it came from so you can verify it.
No. The Warranty Desk is included with every ClaimIQ Connect Platform plan at no extra charge. If you are on a platform plan you already have it.
